Sarah Knox is a freelance dance scholar, choreographer, teacher, performer, adjudicator, advocate and supporter. She has worked extensively within New Zealand and internationally in the dance community for 20 years. She is currently a Lecturer in Dance Studies at The University of Auckland.
Sarah is a 2001 graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance where she majored in both classical ballet and contemporary dance. Sarah holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Creative and Performing Arts (Distinction, 2011) and a Master of Creative and Performing Arts (First class honours, 2013), both in Dance Studies from The University of Auckland. She is now a doctoral candidate in Dance Studies.
